“Very fancy and comfortable rooms, they might not be the biggest, but they surely are nice. The staff were very attentive, making me feel like Madonna, even though im a man. Would surely return for the beautiful view of the Queens-borough bridge, close distance to the city( one train stop away), and the awesome staff.“

“This is my first review ever on yelp and i'm doing it for Nesva to show how fully satisfied i am with my stay. (Stayed in a King room with a balcony city view).

Several reasons why you should stay at the Nesva hotel:

1. The price is reasonable.
2. Only four rooms on each floor which limits noise and traffic.
3. Very clean bathrooms (first thing i look in a room)
4. Nicely appointed clean room and very comfortable bed compared to "creepy"
ones in manhattan. :)
5. Helpful/nice/courteous/friendly front desk staff and diligent housekeepers.
6. The location is maybe just a block and a half away from the nearest subway stop;
takes you 10-15 mins to midtown manhattan via N or Q train on the 39th Station.
7. Free Wi-fi in rooms.
8. Refrigerator/flatscreen tv in room.

It's clean, clean, clean! I can almost smell the cleanliness! :) Those housekeepers are doing an excellent job!“

Great Find - Zazoux on 12/8/2012
“For a 3 day business trip to MSKCC (1st Ave/68th St) the choice was to pay $400+ in Manhattan or $152/night just over the bridge at this brand new (opened this summer) small but fine place in Queens. The rooms are very clean, no smells, nice firm beds, all bathroom fixture work fine. Mine had a balcony to the west, i.e. view of the bridge and Manhattan. Free Wifi and nice big-screen TV, both worked very well. Phone and alarm clock in room. Continental breakfast included - that's muffins, croissants, coffee, tea, juice, yoghurt, bananas, and oranges. They kept running out of stuff, but responded quickly to requests.
The neighborhood looks a bit shady at night, but just fine during the day. Lots of people on the streets; small shops and restaurants around. Cab ride over the bridge ~ $15.00. Street parking available.“

Great value...Great Location - JohnZOhio on 12/1/2012
“Shying away from the excessive prices over in Manhatten on a business trip, I just tried the Nesva. Good choice on my behalf despite my initial concerns. Located only 2 blocks from the Q line, access to a dinner over in Manhatten was quick and easy.
Rooms are good although not spacious but clean and neat with good staff.“

Worked for us - jimvtSanRamon_CA on 11/8/2012
“The Good: nicely decorated, new, nice size rooms, continental breakfast, $200 per night, about 1/2 of staying in Manhattan, Tim is great manager, clean, bed is fine, rooms 3 and 4 on each floor have a view of Manhattan skyline, reasonable price for NYC. Staff is pleasant. I would stay there again if I wanted a room in Queens, Long Island City.“

Awesome Place - Jamie S. on 11/1/2012
“This hotel is great. Its small, 4 rooms on each floor, but very modern and friendly. We had been staying across the street at the Holiday Inn until hurricane sandy forced us to extend our stay. The holiday inn double their rates because rooms were in 'high demand'. Our room went from being 199/nt fri, sat and sun, to being 370/nt mon, tues, wed.
The Nesva Staff were very friendly and set us up on a night by night reservation. The room was bigger than Holiday Inns and the rate was 150/nt.
The neighborhood is nice. Several good diners around. Movie Theater is about 4 blocks away. Queensboro bridge is about 1/2 mile away and the sub way station is 1 block away.“

Very clean hotel, friendly staff (rare thing in New York), enjoyed every bit of it! - kikumantsing on 2/23/2013
“We stayed 5 nights at the hotel and enjoyed every night of it. The rooms and toilet (even the hall ways) were very clean, the cleaning staff is definitely doing a terrific job. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk away from the 39th Ave subway station and you're off to the city. Very friendly and accommodating hotel staff!“

“The staff was excellent. I also stayed for at another hotel in the area and I can say that the staff at Nesva was so much more professional, helpful and friendly. The subway was only 3 blocks away and we were able to get to almost all of our destinations with transfers, on the same line. The room was a bit small (typical for NYC) but very clean and the view from the balcony was great. The price was perfect for our budget. Thank you Nesva for a great NY stay.“

“Nesva Hotel was a great gem to find in LIC. The staff were super friendly, everything was very clean from lobby to elevator to room. I loved the decor and their attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot within seconds of turning the water on. I think the best part is the close proximity to Manhattan without having to break your wallet AND it being a clean, friendly hotel.“
